Ask anyone in the know and they'll tell you that a good administrative assistant is the backbone of any successful organization.
If you have dreams of one day running your own business, then you should consider spending some time as an administrative assistant. This training will be invaluable to you as you learn organization and leadership techniques. While there is no formal training required to become an administrative assistant, most businesses give preference to candidates with some formal education. A two year degree program combined with some technology skills is usually preferred.
As an administrative assistant you will be given a great deal of responsibility. You will be privy to the operations of management that normal employees will not be aware of.
